My little DANCE MACHINE

Last Thursday Abigail started her dance classes and fell in love. Her teachers name is Mrs. Jane and she is wonderful.  I watched with a smile on my face for the entire hour as Abi danced, twirled, flipped and tippity tapped. It was so dang cute. I can not let it go with out a big "THANK YOU" to Nana and Grumps & Mam-Maw and Papa. They all have been saying for years that they wanted to pay for dance or whatever Abigail wanted to take. We are not crazy and we took them all up on the offer. Abigail is so lucky to have 4 grandparents that love her and are so close.  Harris could hardly wait till Abi was done before he ran right to her and gave her a giant hug.  Abi you are the best ballerina I have ever seen. Thanks for adding fun to our Thursdays!

I made it! Abi had her first day of school and she loved every minuet of it.  We woke up early my mom watched my little man and we told Abi that we would take her out for breakfast anywhere she wanted. She picked McDonalds. It was sure yummy though. One of the perks of Aaron working nights is that he was able to join us.  Once we were at her school she could not wait another minuet. We were able to snap some pics. Then we went to her class room Abi said " OK mom I will see you when I see you" so  we stole a kiss and was on our way to letting her be the big girl that she is. I did OK. Aaron let me pick and watch a girly movie while she was at school. I left the house 30 mins early. When I finally got to her she saw me and ran up to me giving me a big hug. She said " mom how did you do with out me"? It was cute and my new favorite thing is driving home while she tells me all about her day, her friends, and her teacher. I love my Boo!

I am NOT READY!!!!!!!!!

I am not ready. I am not ready. I am not ready. Abi is starting  preschool on Monday and I am not looking forward to it. She is my girl. I have been blessed to stay with her everyday. I'm just not ready for her to be a big girl. Abi on the other hand is counting the days. She knows her first day outfit, her back pack has been waiting by the door to go to school and she has reassured me that she will draw me pictures and have fun. Today was her orientation and we met her teacher and she is wonderful and I can already tell very kind. Plus our friends Mandy Jarvis and Luke wheeler will be joining her in the same class. As tradition Mam-maw and Papa buy the first back pack and lunch box so Abi got to spend the day choosing all her new gear carefully with us and Mam-maw. Thanks mom and dad! So ready or not Monday is the day. Abi will love it, and I am going to cry but I will try to wait till I am in the car. I can not wait to hear all about it. I love you boo! I can not even believe you have grown up this fast. I remember late night cuddles and feedings, fist steps and words, and all the great "little girl" moments like it was yesterday. I love you! Have fun big girl!

Washington Oaks state park

Sunday Aaron and I decided we were in need of some good old family fun so after church we drove to our favorite park Washington Oak state park. Aaron and I went there all the time when we were dating and now we go all the time with our family. We had a great time. First we played on the playground then we went on a walk down the nature trail to the beach, we played, and caught little crabs. It was wonderful. Then on our way back we went to go wash our feet off because they were filthy and Harris decided to play in the water so we took off his clothes to get him clean everywhere which back fired because then when he fell in the leaves and all the water made them stick to him like glue. He looked the a nature monster. He thought it was great and all I got him as clean as possible as soon as possible. It was a lot of fun!

Then we were off to celebrate Nana's birthday. Aaron made a yummy Greek pasta dinner and we got to enjoy the whole family. Happy Birthday Nana! We love you!

Abi's hair cut

My girl decided to cut her own hair. Thankfully she has curly hair and it was easy to hide.  I on the other hand thought I was going to cry. I am a little crazy when it comes to her hair. I decided that we should take her to get her hair fixed before she starts preschool. She was adorable and the most quiet I have ever heard.  I love you, Boo! You're a cutie!
