Sickey!

So yesterday me mom, Jen and all the kids went to our favorite craft store. Like normal Abi insisted on spending time with Mammaw. So Abi went off to Mammaws house and then around 6:00 at night mom called to tell me Abi wanted to go home. Most of you know how Abi feels about her Mammaw and Nana. As far as Abigail is concerned they hung the moon. They spoil her rotten and she loves it. So I was shocked she wanted to come home. I went to pick her up and on the car ride home she says " Mommy I think I need to go to the doctor because my tummy hurts" So I say "we will see how you feel in the morning" She responded with this gem " Mommy I think he is going to tell me not to swallow bugs" I say " Did you swallow a bug"? Not really seeing where this conversation was going. In frustration She replies " Mom I did not swallow a bug but one got in there and is making me sick" Ha! Ha! I laughed so hard. I love when those little moments happen. Don't kids say the funniest things? I think everyone should share their kids funniest moments. Sounds like one good laugh to me.

Seans BIG Day!

So to every ones surprise my brother in law Sean was baptized on Sunday! How exciting! Aaron and I got the kids asleep and decided to take advantage of a quiet house and 2 sleeping kids, so we laid down for a rare Sunday nap. Then the phone and it was Sean announcing that he was ready to be baptized and doing it right then. I thought he was kidding. He had been taking the discussions since about December and said him and Jen where praying and he was ready and did not want to waste another day. So up to the church we went. It was great, short, sweet, and to the point. Dad did the actual Baptism and everything else with some help from Aaron and the Missionaries. What a day for them there were 4 baptisms on Sunday. I am so excited and proud of him. I can not wait to go to the temple when they are ready and make him and forever piece of our crazy family puzzle. Words can not explain how great your life can be. So everyone give Jen and Sean a great big hug and welcome! Until then I love you sis! Jen has a blog as well. I am sure she will be telling even more about it.

Mr. Giggles

Oh, I love being a mommy! Today it was just me and Hare Bear (Harris) and we had the best day ever. Just some lite morning cleaning and then on to the fun stuff. Abigail was with Nana today. Vickie will be back at work soon and is getting as much Abigail time as she can before the dreaded day. So it was just the 2 of us. Harris has 4 favorite things. 1- Would be food. Any one has seen Hare Bear finish a Ba- Ba before he is ready knows just what I am talking about. 2- Being tickled. He will left up his little guns (arms) and let you know just when he is ready for a good giggle. I love it! His whole face turns into one big smile when he giggles. Does it really get any cuter than that? No way! 3- Bouncing. We all have some good old fashioned family time on mine and Aaron's bed. Aaron and I catch up on the day while Abigail jumps and Harris gets bounced all around. He giggles and laughs the most with Abigail. I'm sure that will not last forever but for now I love it! 4- NAPPING which is my favorite for some of the obvious reasons but, mostly because he cuddles and just snuggles right on up. As a mommy who could really ask for more. So on a day that had all 4 things happen Hare Bear was happy and full of his little giggles and I was reminded on a simple day how blessed I am.
