Cool and Cute!

I am going to go out on a limb and say I have one of the cutest boys ever.
A dirty face, sunglasses and a rocking bull only add to how adorable he is.
I love you Harris! Thanks for giving me a Monday full of giggles!

We love FLorida weather!!!!!

We love our Florida weather! It is crazy hot but nothing is better than jumping in a pool, running in a sprinkler, or sliding down a slip and slide. We found a slip and slide on sale for $6.00 and could not wait to get home a play.

It was Harris' first time and he loved it but needed a little push from daddy.
Then Harris was busy stealing shoes. He is obsessed with shoes. He even sleeps in them. He was in heaven!
Then we talked daddy into demonstrating. We were all impressed!

We love Florida, we love getting wet, and we really love each other. It is a perfect day when we get to have all 3!

Certainly not a lizard!

The other day we were welcomed by a new friend Mr. Turtle- Turtle outside our sliding glass door. Our dog Coheed was barking at something outside, Abigail went to check it out and then said " mom it is a turtle" I said "No Boo it is probably a lizard" Then she responded with " Mom it is certainly not a lizard. It is a turtle". She was right! The 3 of watched his every move for most of the day and of course named him. Say hello to Mr. Turtle- turtle. Our next move was to call daddy, and all the grandparents to brag about out new friend. It was fun.

Mr.and Mrs. Mathew Grieve

Last Saturday was a great day for 2 reasons. The first it ended almost 3 months of crazy. I have been so busy between mom and dads 35th anniversary party, all the weddings I have been doing, then girls camp, I am exhausted. The BEST reason is because my sister in law Aubrey was married in the Orlando Florida temple. It was amazing. I love my sister in law she is truly stunning inside and out. In the almost 6 years I have been a Jammes I have admired her so much. I was in young women's when she first turned 12, when we shared with the family that we were pregnant with Abigail, Aubrey was the most excited and spent the next 9 months talking to my tummy. The day Abi was born Aubrey held my daughter in her arms and with sweet and tender love cried. It was one of the sweetest moments in all my life.
Watching as Aubrey worked and never wavered on never settling for anything less than a temple marriage was amazing. When I think of important qualities that I hope Abigail has I always think of Aubrey.
When Mathew and her walked into the sealing room they were breathtaking. She was beautiful and Mathew was handsome. They both had smiles so big it was as if their faces would crack they were that happy. It was wonderful to be a part of it. The night before Aubrey went and received her endowments. Once we were in the celestial room Vickie and Mike gathered all their children and their spouses and had us stand in front of a mirror so we all could take in what a blessing it was to all be together in the temple. What a extraordinary moment.
I will share the reception pics later but Katheryn came to the temple and took these amazing pictures and I thought that they needed and deserved there very own blog post.
I am so thankful and blessed to have such a amazing sister in-law. I am so happy for all the joys that are coming her way. Marriage is wonderful and what a great blessing to start it off in a beautiful and breathtaking temple. I love you! Congrats!!!

HOT! HOT! HOT!

For those of you that may not know this about me I am not a outdoors, get dirty, lets go build a campfire kinda girl. Which means of course I would be invited to girls camp, and of course I would me asked to be the 1st level camp crafter. Which put me in charge of 11 girls who I now had to teach, first aide, building and campfire safety, knots, and all the things I get married to be able to avoid having to learn. I was dreading it! However I feel in love! I had so much fun! I missed Aaron and my little cuties.... I missed them like crazy. That being said I think every woman should have the chance to go. I was a leader and I was with 5 women in a leader cabin and I think we stayed up later and had more fun than the girls did. I have never laughed and shared embarrassing phobias in one week than I did last week. At night we would sneak out and go to our nightly "meeting" which was the clean and clear pool. That is where the laughing and craziness began.I had a blast

The deer and ticks were crazy. I mean crazy one of the ladies had 9 ticks on the very first day.
Here are my sweet, sweet girls. Talk about amazing... I was floored at how thoughtful and caring these girls were. At one point there was a little girl how was over whelmed and missing home and when the other girls realized she was upset they all swept in and made certain that she felt loved and included.
I certified everything that I had to and we would do fun things to try to make it a little more fun. My favorite of the requirements was that they observe and discuss nature so we went on a short walk and then we came back and "planted a garden" (that they made out of construction paper and sticks) outside of their new big sisters cabins. They were just darling!

One of my buddies is Sheila Wheeler who came as the camp nurse. We have all decided that we need to get together each month just so we can laugh.
The best part was on Thursday my dad and mom were invited to come for Bishops night. I was so excited to see my adorable niece and beautiful daughter with them. Abi is already dying to go to girls came. I was in heaven with my sweet daughter by my side. I was totally thrilled to think about joining my sweet daughter in just a few years as she makes these same amazing bonds in sister hood.
They called Abigail and Lauren up to the front and asked them to join in "singing in the rain".She was adorable. It was a great week!
I just want to say a quick thank you to all my friends, family, and to Aaron for all that was sacrificed so that I could go. I truly needed a simple reminder of what a blessing being a woman and daughter of god really means. Thanks to everywhere that knew of my anxieties and offered to teach me and help me with anything. Thanks to all my new buddies I can not wait to see you all again. I love you all!

Conversations with a funny girl

Today Abi and I were cuddled up on the couch chatting and this is the conversation that we had I thought it was way to funny not to share

Abi- " mommy do you remember when I was in your tummy?"
Me-" Yes, do you?"
Abi- " No I do remember when I came out of your tummy and all the doctors told me that I was cute"
Me- You remember that?"
Abi-" Yes mom like it was yesterday. DO you think that I will ever have a sister?"
Me- "You will either have a sister or another brother one day"
Abi- " I want a sister because I have her name picked out"
Me- What is the name?"
Abi- " Dora Amanda Kilan Jammes"
Me- Why that name?"
Abi- " Well mom it is simple.
-Dora, because it is like the best cartoon ever
-Amanda, because your name is Mommy but for some crazy reason people call you Amanda so If we name my sister that then people will call you by your reall namewhich is mommy.
-Kilan, Because I could not choose between Dora or Kilan so we can give her both
-Jammes, because if we are all stuck with the name she has to be too.

Where do kids come up with this stuff! I love you, Boo!

Mr. & Mrs. Graham

Saturday after a week of not so great events Aaron and I went down to Orlando to watch as Laura Everett was married. Aaron and I grew up in the Everett home. Laura's brother Ryan and us were always together growing up. I love the family dearly. When I first became a mommy I was called into the Young Women's program in our ward and got to get to know and fall in love with Laura. Every now and then she would call me and pull me aside to ask my advice and opinion on things. Then came David and a engagement and now the wedding. After some threats and a little black mail Donna let me do the flowers as a wedding present..... or so I thought until I received a card and some cash to pay me for my work. Which was very sweet. The sealing was beautiful. The day before I found out my Uncle Eddie had passed away and it was such a blessing to be in the temple and be able to feel the spirit that was there. It was a great day. Laura looked stunning and if I may say so myself the flowers were my best yet.
The cake
The centerpieces all 22 of them
Laura's toss bouquet

The women's corsages
Laura's bouquet... she had the idea of adding a locket with her grandmothers picture around the handle. It is cute!
The bridesmaids bouquets

The men's boutonniere's

The wedding was beautiful thanks for letting me be a part of it!
