Heartbreaking.....

....and true Abigail Renae is a Kindergartener.  The night before Aaron  came home from work early to our surprise and we rented" Rango" and made a fort in Abi's honor. It was fun, yet  amazing that 5 years went by that fast. Then daddy who is wonderful pulled Abi unto his lap and expressed all the wonders of Kindergarten and it was sweet. Nothing as sexy as your hubby being a daddy. Then he gave Abi and I blessings for a wonderful year, teacher, and bravery.

Before I knew it that pesky alarm rang and on came my brave face. We got dressed Abi looked so darn cute!

Then came time to take her into school. I braced myself and smiled gave her a watch and a necklace that made her brave. Off we went. We found her room, teacher, and kissed. Then came this face and those oh so  pretty swelled with tears. Nothing like knowing the difference between what your child wants and needs. I would have  grabbed her in my arms and ran.  To be honest I am pretty sure the only reason why that did not happen was because Aaron gave me the look.  You know the one Husbands give where they seem to say" Think this threw before you do it"
Finally the end of the day came I got her and Kindergarten is getting easier and better everyday! Now only 7 more months to go!

I Love these people!!!

As most of you know my childhood and now adulthood was filled with adventures. I had lots of surgeries and my time was well spent at Nemores Children's Clinic whether it was appointments, surgeries, or physical therapy I was there 3-4 times a week for almost 4 years. These 3 people I love dearly. From right to left is Shannon (she is the appointment lady and boy she hooked us up) Then is the magic man himself who worked so hard to safe my wild leg and did), Last is Debbie ( she was my physical therapist my little monster I called her. She could torture me for hours and I would roll or walk away still loving her.
A couple of weeks ago I ran into Shannon and then I was invited for lunch and I jumped on it. I got to share how happy I am and everything that has happened with my leg since leaving Dr. Hahn( at the age of 21).  We shared about our families and then we all cried. For so long I have wanted to tell them Thank You. They loved me and looking back fought right along with my mom and I for normalcy. In fact Shannon and Debbie were there at my graduation and celebrated that I WALKED the line, right with my family. I love them and was so thankful  for the influence that had in my life. They are amazing and I know for sure sent here with there wonderfulness from Heaven.

The 4th of July

On the actual 4th of July Mom and daddy came home so we go to see them and we went swimming. Then we were off to Aaron's work where we got front row seats to the fireworks downtown. The kids loved it. We met up with some friends who we love. Satha and Ben, have the cutest little guy named Andrew and even though we had not seen them in a while the kiddos picked right up and played together the whole time we waited.

Our 4th of July Party

My mom and dad went to help Jen and her family get settled so Aaron and I had a party at there home.  Saturday was fun. We cooked, laughed, swam, and ate. In addition to all our friends that came I was  happy that my brother finished his obligations and was there to join in the party!

Baby Jackson

As most of you know Jen, Shawn, and Kynleigh are no residents in the state of Louisiana. They left a few weeks ago and I am happy to say.... they are happy and have a ward that is great to them. Before they left Abi and I got to go with them and see whether baby Jackson is a boy or a girl. Mom, Aunt Debbie, and Sherry Jackson (Shawn's mom) all got to join in on the fun!

Shawn crossing  his fingers that it's a Boy!
It's A girl........  I am voting  for the name:
Genevieve Ann Jackson

Because we have a Aunt we love named Aunt Ginny and Jen sounds like Gene
. Then my moms and our Aunt Debbie who we love has a middle name Ann. Jen is not in love with it but I think we should Talk her into it. What do you guys think of the name Genevieve?

We were not exactly sure had Kynleigh felt until we heard the news it was a girl and she turned her chair around and colored. I guess she wanted a brother.
Abi on the other hand was thrilled!

The Ultra sound tech had the coolest little figures of the Actual size that little baby Jackson really was and it was so cute to hold the little tiny replica. Oh Baby Genevieve I love you already!

Congrats Jen, Shawn, and Kynleigh Mae I love you all!!! I also miss you all!

I am way behind!!! ......

Girls camp!!!!! It was so much fun and this year one of my favorite ladies Casey Gentle was the Captain. Our theme this year was TREASURE SEEKERS. With the 13th article of faith as the main inspiration.  I was asked to do crafts which was the best.  I had a great time in fact I think some of the ladies had a better time than the youth. Even with some changes such as 2 days 1 night in the air conditioned ward building and the Holiday Inn for sleeping. Hear are some of my favorite moments.

Crafts we did wooden blocks that were burnt and we put vinyl on that said " seek the treasure you desire the most" and added some wire and pictures to put on top. We also did scrapbooks, i was so relieved that they were a hit!
Marley Barely she and I can find fun anywhere!
  Skipper skipping and twirling.
Treasure hunting......  The girls came in and to get their next clue had to put p-nut butter crackers in their mouths and whistle. It was FUNNY!

I shared a room with to of my best friends Cassie and Katheryn. We were up ALL night chatting and laughing!
Then to add to the fun we listened as Cassie prank called the other rooms. With such hits as .....Is your refrigerator running. No matter how old you get it is just fun!
Then when that got old and we had all showered Cassie got the urge for Waffle house and off we went.
Then the next morning we were off with crafts.
Then that night Katheryn, Marley and I had a hilarious and a  not very reverent moment. Oh, I still smile when I think about it. We were soooo tired!
This is the great women I got to  join and it was a great 2 days!!! Their are really some great women in our stake who LOVE the young women. I am thankful I got to get my " spiritual tank" filled.
