Vaction day 3 and 4

Aaron has always wanted to ride a horse ever since he was a child. Little ponies were all he ever rode. We made sure that we fit this in because Aaron wanted to do it so bad. I was going to go as well but Harris my tough little man decided the last minuet that he was Terrified of horses. I stayed back and watched Abi ride the cutest little pony I have ever seen. Her name was Lace. I was melting my heart to watch her ride this little pony. Her smile took up her whole face. Oh she is CUTE
The men ended up being the only ones that got to go. They were sure cute.

When the boys came back we were leaving to go have our picnic and I asked him how it was. He said " It was OK" I could tell he loved it so after some nagging  he said he did not want to tell me how amazing it was because he knew I missed it. Once I reassured him I was happy he spilled the beans and for a good 30 minuets told me all about it. I am not sure who had more fun Abi or Aaron.

This was as close as Harris would get to her. I am still so surprised he did not want to ride.

Then we were off to Amicalola Falls. We had a picnic and then were off to see the falls. It was a lot of fun and gorgeous. I was reminded of how much my father in Heaven Loves me to give me such a wonderful earth to live in.

I was in Heaven the weather was perfect, I got time with my family, the colors of the leaves were so beautiful they were breath taking,  and the quietness was a great pleasure.

Then daddy saw this hill  and before I turning around they were all rolling down the hill.

Then we were off to the pumpkin patch ALL of us were in Heaven, Aaron loved walking around looking at all the "misfit" pumpkins, Abi loved it because there so many  for once they had no idea were to start their trouble making, I was in love with all the orange, it is my favorite color.

These were my favorite. Not really sure why but I was fascinated.

We picked our pumpkin and jumped in the car to go to the cabin to carve it.
Abi had a design and I drew it on after the 3 of them did all the messy and gross stuff. I think it is the cutest darn pumpkin ever. For those of dying to see more day 5 and 6 are coming

Vaction day 1 and 2

Last week we had the best week ever. We went to one of my favorite places on earth  North Georgia in the fall.  It is my happy place. We woke up and left our house Saturday morning at 3:00. Harris is not a morning person could you tell? To my joy the kids were perfect on the way up. I was soooo relieved.

The first day I brought my camera but it was out of batteries so bummer we have NO pictures. The cabin was a amazing, the view was gorgeous, and the leaves were full of so many colors that it took my breath away. We went to our cabins ran around checking the place out, unpacked, went to a art show, rode a train, went to the grocery store, came home and then.............. I fell down the stairs. Which made my perfect day a little less perfect. You are all very lucky because I was truly tempted to take a picture of the right side of my bum to show you the massive bruise I got.

DAY 2
We woke up and  Nana and grumps were there with us. We went to a apple orchard were we had the best time. If you wanted to do something they had it there for you to.

We first got into a covered wagon that was being pulled my mules and took a ride all around, then we watch a bee tamer, picked apples, played on a playground, rode a pony well Abi did Harris was terrified, did a zip line, milked a cow, and went to loved on cute little baby animals in the petting zoo.
My favorite was watching Harris and Abi with all the little babies.  Chicks, goats, sheep, wolf, kittens, bunnies,  a calf, a pig and lots of chickens.

Harris wanted so badly to touch one of the chicken but he was just to slow then he discovered were they were hiding and he was off. He had all the chicken cornered and if it were not for his hysterical laughing I would have thought I lost him.

Mam-maw requested that the kids find and bring home rocks so once we were back to the cabin we went on a rock hunt.
I made dinner, Vicki played with the kids, and the boys played some pool.
Here is where all the "magic" happened. Vacations are nice if  only for a all the good "magic" =)
The Living room
The kitchen and  the loft  that Mike and Vicki had.  The stairs we so cool the way they did it.
The back porch with the rocking chairs. At night Aaron and I would make some hot chocolate and wrap up in a blanket and talk all night long. It was so peaceful and romantic.

Tomorrow I will share even more. We had a great time. I fell in love with Aaron all over again. I can not wait to  go again. I had a handsome man, 2 gorgeous kids, and the most beautiful colors in the world. It was as close to perfect as you can get.

Heartbreaking.....

....and true Abigail Renae is a Kindergartener.  The night before Aaron  came home from work early to our surprise and we rented" Rango" and made a fort in Abi's honor. It was fun, yet  amazing that 5 years went by that fast. Then daddy who is wonderful pulled Abi unto his lap and expressed all the wonders of Kindergarten and it was sweet. Nothing as sexy as your hubby being a daddy. Then he gave Abi and I blessings for a wonderful year, teacher, and bravery.

Before I knew it that pesky alarm rang and on came my brave face. We got dressed Abi looked so darn cute!

Then came time to take her into school. I braced myself and smiled gave her a watch and a necklace that made her brave. Off we went. We found her room, teacher, and kissed. Then came this face and those oh so  pretty swelled with tears. Nothing like knowing the difference between what your child wants and needs. I would have  grabbed her in my arms and ran.  To be honest I am pretty sure the only reason why that did not happen was because Aaron gave me the look.  You know the one Husbands give where they seem to say" Think this threw before you do it"
Finally the end of the day came I got her and Kindergarten is getting easier and better everyday! Now only 7 more months to go!

I Love these people!!!

As most of you know my childhood and now adulthood was filled with adventures. I had lots of surgeries and my time was well spent at Nemores Children's Clinic whether it was appointments, surgeries, or physical therapy I was there 3-4 times a week for almost 4 years. These 3 people I love dearly. From right to left is Shannon (she is the appointment lady and boy she hooked us up) Then is the magic man himself who worked so hard to safe my wild leg and did), Last is Debbie ( she was my physical therapist my little monster I called her. She could torture me for hours and I would roll or walk away still loving her.
A couple of weeks ago I ran into Shannon and then I was invited for lunch and I jumped on it. I got to share how happy I am and everything that has happened with my leg since leaving Dr. Hahn( at the age of 21).  We shared about our families and then we all cried. For so long I have wanted to tell them Thank You. They loved me and looking back fought right along with my mom and I for normalcy. In fact Shannon and Debbie were there at my graduation and celebrated that I WALKED the line, right with my family. I love them and was so thankful  for the influence that had in my life. They are amazing and I know for sure sent here with there wonderfulness from Heaven.
