All dressed up!

Our family like everyone else's that I know had a crazy, busy, but, fun week. We started things out Getting home from our get away Monday, Tuesday I was sick, Wednesday was trunk or treat at church, Thursday was one of my best buds Nancy's Baby shower, Friday we had a reception and by Saturday the kids were both sick and I was exhausted. I have to say I had a great time with every activity but was ready to have it all of over with and be on to the next thing. I hope I am not the only one that had that thought. This was my Hare Bear's first Halloween and first Trunk or Treat. He was just starting to get a little cold and was not feeling great. I was working one of the games and with Aaron at work I was sad he missed it and in need of a second hand when a friends thoughtful hubby stepped in and offered to hold him. Thanks again Kelly and Heath! He even came back to me with a tissue for his noise and all. You Thompson's are amazing!
Abigail was "Snow White" and Harris was my little "Muscle Man"
We were all so excited because all of our cousins were there. We enjoyed them all!

Halloween day we were all sick and were not exactly sure any of us were going Trick or Treating. In the end we all went had a excellent time and enjoyed family time. Sick or not we loved it. Abigail was a little frustrated when people did not have their lights on. At one point she looked up at Aaron and said " Dad don't they know I am Snow White"

I took the easy job of pushing Harris and Aaron had Abigail did all the knocking and trick or treating.

By the end of the night I think that this is how we all felt. We had a great night and are feeling like our normal family again. Sick or not the Jammes family LOVES Halloween!!

Happy BIRTHDAY mom!!!!

Yesterday we had a surprise birthday party for my mom and uncle Joe. They just happen to share the same birthday. My mom is horrible with surprises. But we got her! It was a great day even the kids who have been sick even perked up and ate some yummy cake thanks to Mam-Maw.

The ladies in the family!

All our men!!! WE are getting so big.

Mom with some of her grand babies I thought that she looks really beautiful in it so I threw it in for fun.

Happy Birthday mom. Today is my mom's birthday. I just wanted to share a little about her and why I love her so darn much. I have. Growing up she was completely amazing. I remember her at one point taking Jennifer band, Robbie to karate, me to physical therapy daily. I still do not know how she did it. I got a lot of things from my mother, wild driving, love for being creative, talking to my self on occasion, and my strong will. Of all the things that I learned from her I am most thankful that she taught me to never give up. I remember her going a little crazy at the hospital on nurses and then walk in to my room brave and be so loving. I remember at times begging her to let me stop physical therapy. I am thankful she somehow managed to take on the world. My life is unbelievably blessed because of her. When I had choices to make my mom always said to me "go pray you will know what to do". I did, and somehow what I needed to do ended up being exactly what she would say to do. I am thankful she is my friend. I am thankful she is still my mother. I am thankful that she will give my children love and life full of memories that will be something that they will cherish for the rest of there life. I am sooo thankful she showed me what a marriage could be and always reminded why I should never ever settle. It never fails at some point during the day I do something just like my mother and my first thought is " oh man I am my mother" then my next thing is a smile. No matter how crazy she can be, no matter if she is going to sing opera loud and proud while cleaning forever , and no matter whether she fusses when I do not listen to her. it all comes to the fact that there is no one else in this world I would rather be like. I love you mom and I am thankful you are Abigail's and Harris Mam-Maw. They are truly blessed. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

5 perfect years!

Today is actually mine and Aaron's 5th anniversary. We looked threw all of our wedding pictures together and these we decided were the 5 pictures that best described our marriage. The one above I think shows how much we loved each other way back then and I can not even start to explain how much I love him now. We have had 5 crazy years. We have changed our family from a family of 2 to a great family of 4, we added a house of our own, a dog, 4 job changes, and a car. Tears and laughter are 2 things that goes hand in hand with out one we truly would not value when we get to do the other.
I remember this picture when we took it. The boy could not keep his hands off of me and 2 very unexpected but very very loved and beautiful children prove exactly how much we "like" each other". Iam still amazed at what a sweet and thoughtful man he is. He can know exactly when I need help with something or if I am just in need of him. I love how he still kisses me goodnight, calls me at work and never forgets to snuggle me where ever we may be.

We are so thankful for 4 loving and caring parents who where always a example of love and eternal marriage. I knew exactly what and who I wanted to marry because I was shown who and what I deserved in a marriage. I am so thankful I was shown that type of love. Aaron is a man respect and honor. Thank you Mike and Vickie for raising him to be a wonderful husband. Thank you mom and dad for showing me I deserved one and teaching me that love and Marriage can be wonderful and Eternal!

We since sometime cuddle on the couch and laugh and be silly. He is the funniest person I know. We have certainly had our fair share of struggles and battles we have fought together and sometimes against one another. Every time we giggle when it is all said and done and are thankful for everything we have ever gone threw. Whether it my crazy leg, family losses, financial, or just life. As long as I got you babe I know we will be great and better for it in the end.

Who knew our wedding pictures would be such a sweet glimpse into our future. Most of our marriage has been exactly like when I wanted so badly to shove our wedding cake right into his face. He is my support, my cheerleader ,and the wisest man I know. He knows exactly when I need him to listen and he knows exactly when I need him to give me advice.
Aaron these past years have truly been the best of my life you are my everything. I know you always will be. Thank you for my children, my home and all the wisdom and love you have bought into our family. I can not wait to see what can happen in another 5 years.... 2 more babies? I love you! Thank you for all you do. Your a amazing Husband, father, and man!

.... the last of Savannah!

Here is the Oldest church in Savannah it was gorgeous, However every time we go we can not go in for one reason or another. This time there was a wedding. There were weddings every where it was really sweet.
The Girl Scout founders Juliette Gordon Lows House it was amazing all the old antiques and furniture.

After a day of sight seeing we debated were we should go with all these new fantasy restaurant we ended up at our favorite " Longhorns Steakhouse" This is Aaron he got some kind of steak he ate it all up.

This is mine I got a Parmesan Crusted chicken breas.t Oh it was yummy!

At dinner Aaron paid attention to me the whole night even with the Gator game going on in the bar next to us. He loves me!

We did the Ghost Tour. It was kinda cheesy but we had fun. This is the Most Hunted house in America. The Sorrel-Weed house. It was Creepy!

Us on the Ghost tour

The cemetery where all the civil war soldiers were buried. It was neat to walk around it and see all the really old tomb stones

We went Antique shopping. Aaron found this old shop that had all this Nazi stuff It was crazy! They Had everything that a Nazi would have carried on them. Neat to see but I am not sure something I would want to Collect.

We went to the #1 rated seafood restaurant in Georgia. It was neat. Everything was outside and right on the water. It was such nice day, the breeze was perfect, and to top it off the played my favorite singer Jack Johnson in the back ground the whole time.

I did not realize that I would have to peel all my shrimp. I hate doing that. Luckily Aaron felt sorry for me and did all the dirty work for me.

So on Sunday we went to the little Island Called "Tybee Island" We went to a old civil war fort That the Yankees took over after a long 2 day battle. None the less it was neat to see. Aaron saw the tree and knew it had his name all over it.

Tybee beach
When Aaron and I were dating he dared me to do a cart wheel so somehow every time we go to a national or state park I have to do a cart wheel. SO this is me doing a cart wheel. DO not ever dare me. I love a good dare!
The mote to the fort I thought it was pretty.
Ft. Pulaski
This is were all the the soldiers slept and they were filming a Robert Redford movie " The Conspirator" Which was neat to know.

I LOVE Savannah!!!

Our new friend. We sat on River Street and watched him weave these amazing flowers and baskets. It was fantastic to watch!

The fabulous city market cafe we had lunch at. It was AMAZING!

I loved looking at all the old buildings and houses. Other than being with Aaron it was the part
I loved the most.

The bathroom of where we stayed it was adorable. It had a gorgeous claw foot tub and everything!

The little kitchenette

Where all the magic happened :)

The little living room

Our trip was amazing!!! Anyone who had never been to Savannah for a long get away should go! It is was so romantic!! Aaron and I had so much fun talking with out little interruptions or "Mommy" being called in the back round. The first day we had hope to go tour the Waycross CSX yard but that did not work out so we just headed straight up to our little suite in Savannah. The great news is that is was a adorable and incredibly cheap. I love a bargain! The bad news is that there was a reason it was so cute and cheap it as in the Ghetto. Lets just say I for once was so glad my hubby has a concealed weapons permit. IT WAS SCARY!!! Once inside though it was delightful. Everything inside has been redone and everything they used was all recycled environmentally friendly materials. Which I love!

Then we headed out into the town we ate lunch at this great Cafe'. "City Market Cafe" was the name. I had a Broccoli- Cheddar soup and chicken salad that was the best I have ever had. Aaron had a chicken feta cheese sandwich that was great as well. Then we walked down river street and enjoyed all the amazing old buildings and shops. Aaron got a old fashioned Carmel apple that was hilarious to watch him eat, I got homemade Peanut butter fudge... YUMMY! We cuddled on the bench that looked out at the river and then went back to the suite and enjoyed the rest of the night.... in the best way possible! Which sounds like a great day but the best is still yet to come!!!! Aaron Thank you for a 3 look gleamse into my own little piece of paradise! I love you so much and I could never tell you enough I loved and blessed I feel everyday of my life!! I love you , Babe!
