Thanksgiving with the Jammes!!!

This year the Jammes family has so much to be thankful for. We welcomed our son Harris into our family. Aaron started a new job that he loves and enjoys. Abigail is becoming more and more of a little lady, and I have what I have wanted my whole life.... a happy healthy family.
Aaron and I are blessed to have both our families here close so holidays are always fun with a bit of craziness. This year was no different. I addition to my family I was able to celebrate with one of my many excellent friends, Lisa! We started of at My Uncle Kenny ad Aunt Suzi's home were we did a early Christmas with them for the kids. Abigail was given and fun play house and her new "Princess and the frog doll" Thanks again! Harris was given a rocking horse and a whole bunch of other little things. Thanks from Harris, too! We love you!

The whole Graden gang!!!

Our little family!

Then we were off to Aaron's family (I forgot my camera at home when we went to pick of the food we were bringing) and we had some great food and even better company. After we ate the boys were off to play their traditional game of golf. Then my mom in law volunteered to watch the babies and I went with some of the ladies to go see the movie " Blind Side" It was amazing!

Then we went to Toys 'R' Us to get the best deals possible. Jen, mom, Lisa, Erin and I had fun freezing and shopping. It was the craziest thing I have ever seen in more ways then one. I have never seen to many people. In the end though it was well worth it. I AM COMPLETELY DONE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!

Preggo was the most impressive. You have got some guts girl! Thanks for keeping ouR tradition going strong! I had a great time and enjoyed people watching with you guys! Thanks Lisa for being welling to fight for Abi's toys! I love you all!
The Jammes family is THANKFUL for a lot of things this year and we are thankful we have friends and family like you all to share a great year with. Happy belated Thanksgiving!

My Pretty girl!!!

Growing up my dad always had nick names for my sister and I. Mine growing up was "Pretty Girl" Jens was "Dolly". My sister took this picture of Abigail and I realized I had my own Little "Pretty Girl". I am so thankful for all she does to make our family fun. I am thankful for her outside beauty but her inside beauty is what I love the most! I love you, Abigail!!

She needs clothes?

So the other day Abigail came to me and said " Mom I need some clothes, I have nothing".Which brings me to me point Abigail has started changes her outfits a couple times a day. I decided to document the amount she changed in a day. 4 outfit changes! I agree she does not have any clothes...... because I am washing them all!

..... growling?

Yesterday after Aaron went to work it was such a nice day the kids and I went on a walk. I brought the diaper in case of emergency (which had my camera, thankfully) and animal crackers for my growing boy. A few minuets into the walk Abi spotted them and went to grab one and Harris growled, that's right growled at her. We have a dog but he never growls around food so who knows where he got it from. No matter where he got it from though it was very funny.
Gotta love a boy!

Vote, drive, rock, climb, ride, learn, and sleep!

Saturday Aaron and I woke up and realized that for the first time in weeks we had nothing to do. So we decided each one of us would present Abigail with a option and she could choose what we did. Aaron wanted to take a drive down A1A, climb some trees ride a boat over to fort Matanzas. I wanted to go to Gainsville and walk around the botanical gardens. We voted Aaron won and we were off. We had a great dive it was a amazing day! We rocked and giggled as Harris and Abigail chatted in the back. We got there climbed some trees and got all dirty.

Then we were off to ride the boat over to the Historic fort. Abigail loved it and Harris ate, so he was happy as well.

Fort Matanzas

Abigail and I were hiding in this little nook they used to hide and attack invaders.

Then Aaron decided it was not a trip unless he took Abigail to the top of the fort. I was freaking out a little the fort was 3 stories high with no railing. The ladder to get on top was a steep ladder to preserve history it was just like the original the guide said. It was a amazing to watch as 30 people climbed up onto this small, if not tiny fort. I still do not know how they all fit.

On the way home we rocked to some more of daddy's music ( Abigail's request) Then Aaron and I enjoyed some fun chats while the kids napped like champs.
The best part of all was that other than gas and lunch it was all free.
I loved holding hands with Abigail and aaron. Watching Abigail as she rode the boat. Laughing as I watched Aaron climb a tree. Harris being completely unconcerned with anything that was not food. Thanks babe for having a great idea and Abigail for voting daddy's way.

CURLS gone wild!!!!

Abigail said to me a couple days ago that she liked her curly hair and did not know why I always put it up I pig tails. I wanted to say "well because you have some crazy hair". Instead I thought about it and realized I want her to love everything about herself because she is beautiful and perfect. So, I have been curling the crazy pieces and I love it curly! She loves it curly! Isn't it funny that she is sometimes smarter than her own mom. I love her pretty and sometimes wild hair, but if I had to describe her I think would be the 2 words I used pretty and wild. Pretty funny, pretty creative and pretty inside and out. Wild well she is just a wild girl!!

9 MONTHS!!!!

Harris is 9 months today. It is so hard to believe we are closer to a year old than we are further away from it. I love him and I am already planning the big celebration in my head. Things that have changed from 8 months to 9 months:
-He stands up all by himself.
-He loves baby food more than bottles.
-He mimics what we do like when we sneeze he fake sneezes, or when we cough he fake coughs.
-He takes bath's with Abigail without falling over.
-He plays by himself;
-He loves Hide- N- Go Seek.
-He dances whenever there is music on.
-He gets in to trouble faster.
-He giggles at everything Coheed, the phone, Abigail, toys. We will be in the middle of something and hear him giggling so we go to investigate just to find him enjoying life.
One thing that will never change is no matter how big he gets or how I think I can not imagine I can love him more, I DO! Happy 9 months Hare Bear! I can not wait to see what will change next month!
I also wanted to give a quick thanks to all the people that have or are serving in the military. Thank You for making this country a better place and for all the sacrifices you make for families like mine.
THANK YOU ALL!
Happy Veterans day!

My little thumb sucker!

One of my favorite things about my son is that he is a thumb sucker. I love it! It is the cutest darn thing in the world. At night once my kids are all clean, have their tummy's full, and ready to cuddle and sleep our nights typically end up with Abigail on one side and Harris with a bottle in his mouth on the other side. When he finishes he quickly tosses the bottle and inserts his thumb. Off to sleep before you know it. I love it! I love to watch him sleep in my arms completely content. I think it's my own little heaven on earth. Nothing like a cute little guy and a pretty little girl to make you enjoy life!

Connor's A-mazing acres

Saturday we went with our friends the Jarvis family and my sister and her little family to Connors A-mazing acres. It was really fun! Just in case you may not have recognized the song on our blog has been changed to "Hanging Tough" by the New Kids On The Block. Why? Well. I had my niece and nephews stay the night the night before which included my feisty nephew Titus. We had a great time minus a few hiccups. A few screaming, throwing himself on the ground, kicking and punching hiccups. So to the Jarvis family I say " Thanks for hanging in there" We love you! When we walked in there were some hay stacks that the kids quickly made a B-line to and had fun sliding down the top of it.

Next we were off to the corn maze. Nathan made himself the designated leader. He was great and we did not get lost at all. We had fun doing and singing such fun thins as Jingle bells, bunny hop, and head, shoulders, knees, and toes. Luckily other than the bunny hop, we knew all the answers. Nathan's process of elimination led us in the right direction.
I thought this was too cute. The Jarvis clan following each other in line. Even Nana Jarvis got in on the action.

All the little ones at our second look out point. Everyone expect for Harris and Kynliegh who were eating in their strollers and Titus who was a little unhappy at the time.

I thought that the "rules" for the very clever CORN box was hilarious. Rule #3 was my favorite.

There were playgrounds, tube slides, pedal cars, duck races, and the favorite huge piles of dirt to play on.

Love the tongue kynleigh Mae!

Last but not least they had a COW train. The ladies rode with the kids and the boys hung back. The line for the train was a little tricky with Titus but in the end was worth it.

Look at my Boo. She was so excited she kept looking back and waving at me and Harris.

This is why it was worth the whole day. Look at the smile. I do not think being a Auntie gets any better than this. Each time I can make one of them smile like this no matter what had to take place leading up to if the result is this it is worth it.
In the end I reminded myself to be MORE appreciative for 2 things:
1.) For my husband. When Titus would freak out he would walk over and take care of the situation at hand without a word of asking for him to do so. I love you, Babe!
2.) To be thankful how well behaved and easy my children are. They just enjoy life and even though one may be sassy at times and the other full of trouble, they are incredibly sweet and loving. I love you, Boo and Bear!
Thanks to the Jarvis family! Sorry for the craziness!

Big Girl!!!

These days Abigail has loved being the big girl. She helps me many many times a day whether is be graping a diaper or playing with her brother when I am busy. She loves to help. I have also noticed how girly she has become. The girl changes clothes about a million times a day. Yesterday we saw Nana at a baby shower and she got new PJ's which I to practically bribe her to take a bath before she put them on. Which is crazy because Abigail loves taking baths on a normal day she takes at least 2 baths because she loves to "swim". So when she was so excited to wear the PJ's I thought about what a love for clothes and make-up and dress up stuff she has recently started to develop. Then this morning she showed off her PJ's to Aaron and then promptly got her self dressed. Which you can all use your own judgment to decide for yourselves how she did. I think it is adorable!
I love you Abigail thanks for putting the "spunk" in "spunky"!

Most of you know that Aaron plays the drums. He has played ever since I can remember. Harris I already know is going to do the same. When I was preggo with him I swear he played the drums in my belly. Everyday when I give him his bath. I am reminded of being pregnant with him. He splashes and plays water drums like he is a rock star. I love little baby bottoms!!

We use Crayola water color tablets so everyone knows. I am pretty sure Harris is not "playing" drums. Boys...no matter the age they love their "goods"

Here he is going wild. Poor Abigail gets splashed all the time and here she is getting him back. It backfired and only fueled the flame and for the rest of bath time they splashed each other untill I took them out.

Look at the intensity.

Here he is laughing because of all the mess he is making. I would so "No, No, Harris" and he would giggle and continue. I can not wait to see Aaron giving him drum lessons on actual drums! He will be a pro!

What can I can I say... he is trouble!

Sunday we had a surprise birthday party for my mom everything was clean but I had to do a quick mop job. Even with being the most prepared a mop is always needed with Harris and Abigail. My sister Jennifer called I got to talking turned around to hear a big boom and a gush. I saw my little trouble maker swimming in the mop water. He was so happy! I was horrified!
Look at him he is soaking wet and so fast. Oh, I am sure this is just a start into what he is going to get into.

I am not sure if you can see the water. To give you a better idea the mop bucket was full. There was water everywhere.

Harris is loving it. He was laughing every time he would slide he thought is was hilarious. He was having so much fun I almost let him play. I came to my senses and remembered he was sick and playing in mop water ad went into action.... well after I snapped a couple pictures of course.
